Rubles (RUB)
RUB works well if you pay from Russia (SBP / bank transfer) and do not want to carry large cash. Street exchangers in tourist areas often hide a worse spread than an online service with a locked rate. Almost nobody accepts online payments, and if they do exchange cash, it is usually at a heavily inflated rate.
